On the television the scoreboard graphic listed the combatants as NY and BKN. During the first quarter a woman seated next to me looked up from her repast and questioned.
“Who’s New York playing?” Confusion redolent on her ruddy cheeks. “Bikini?”
“Yes,” I responded. “The New York Nicks are playing the Bikini Bottom Squidwards.”
